Gunnar Optiks drops a fun tokidoki collection for summer 2024

There is nothing cute about eye strain and Gunnar knows it. That’s why the brand is dropping a new collection featuring tokidoki.

For those who aren’t aware, tokidoki is a Japanese lifestyle brand known for its very distinct style. The company has partnered with a lot of other big brands including the MLB, Sanrio, and even Barbie.

This latest collaboration with Gunnar Optiks feels like something new, though. I don’t know about you but as someone who wears prescription glasses, things can get a bit boring when it comes to certain looks. That’s why I had to share this new tokidoki collection from Gunnar.

The important thing to note is that these come in two varieties which are prescription and non-prescription. Regardless if you need a prescription or not, you’re still able to protect your eyes from blue light and reduce eye strain while still looking cute.

For the Tokidoki collection, there are 4 different styles to choose from and honestly, they’re all so different yet are very distinct. First up is the TokiDoki Year of the Dragon look which is modeled after the Chinese Dragon. They even come with a gorgeous carrying case and a microfiber pouch to keep them in. These are priced at $115.00.

My favorite of the bunch is easily the tokidoki Donutella pair which is priced at $125.00. This one is obviously inspired by Donutella and if you’re a Tokidoki fan, I’m sure you see why. The design featured on these is called Pink Sprinkles and honestly, I’m here for it. These are just so incredibly cute and would be perfect for gaming or just browsing the Tokidoki website for what else they have.

Moving onto the tokidoki SANDy glasses, these are definitely the most unique of the bunch. Considering that they’re inspired by Sandy, it has major cactus vibes and is a very distinct style which is what cactuses are known for. However, if you’re someone who loves Sandy or just wants something fun to wear while gaming, you can’t go wrong with these. This style is also priced at $115.00.

Lastly is the Tokidoki Cotton Candy Carnival which is easily the most understated of the entire collection. Priced at $89.00, the most distinct feature on these is the fact that they include Stellina’s star but other than that, they’re very relaxed. While they might not be as bold as other choices, sometimes you want something a little understated, and honestly, we can appreciate that.

As you can see, Gunnar Optiks has a little bit of everything for those who love tokidoki or just someone who wants some cute glasses to protect their eyes. Either way, I can only hope we get more girly and fun collections in the future from Gunnar.
