All American: Homecoming Teases Big Changes Are Coming
All American: Homecoming has released the first tease as to what to expect from season three with a trailer that highlights some of the show's bigger plot lines. Most of the show's central characters make an appearance in the season three trailer, even with previous revelations that some of the show's main cast would be stepping back from being series regulars.
With Tennis and Baseball still very much at the forefront of the series, All American: Homecoming will still be touching on its biggest sports storylines. But, certain questions may sit at the heart of what is coming in the series, including if or how All American: Homecoming will introduce a time jump similar to that of its flagship series, All American, which skipped a year to give more substance and growth to the football storylines.
Jumping ahead a year in All American: Homecoming's narrative certainly has its benefits as well, such as being forced to make a decision regarding how Simone went about the love triangle and questioning what is next for Keisha's future in dance. Jumping ahead also asks more questions about what to expect from Damon and Lando's prospective MLB futures or when Simone will step away from Bringston's team to go professional, or if there may be a new conflict that could make her journey longer.
Simone also may be facing personal struggles, as the questions regarding Simone's romantic choice between Lando and Damon may not be as clean cut as whoever the show has paired her up with when the series returns.
JR also has his own set of conflicts surrounding baseball and personally as he appears determined to take control of his life again.
All American: Homecoming's season three trailer does not tease everything that fans can expect to find from its upcoming slew of episodes. But what it does suggest is that Bringston's found family may need each other for support more than ever.
