With Wizards of Waverly Place coming back as a sequel series recently named Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, it has already been established that David Henrie will be reprising his role as Justin Russo as a series regular while Selena Gomez will be reprising her role as Alex Russo in a guest-star capacity.

Wizards of Waverly Place is not the first Disney Channel series to get the revival sequel series treatment, as it comes after the success of Raven's Home, which had followed a similar format of bringing back original That's So Raven series stars Raven Symoné, Anneliese van der Pol, Rondell Sheridan, T'Keyah Crystal Keymáh, and Adrienne Bailon-Houghton.

The use of the storyline already has fans questioning big events from the show, such as how can Max be incorporated and what caused Justin and Juliet to break up.
