There are so many different makeup brands. It can feel overwhelming to try something new. Sometimes it's easier, just to stick with brands and products one is familiar with. However, one day while scrolling on Instagram reels, something new caught my eye, a small business called Hex Baby Beauty.

The product demos and endless colors seemed almost too good to be true. For my first order, I ordered a single split-liner pallet and enjoyed it. The colors were vibrant and long-lasting. I was hooked. What really sets these liners apart from most is they are water-activated. Therefore, you will need a brush (or a few) and a small spray bottle to apply them. After that, the possibilities are truly endless. More on my second order later.

The Pros

Hex Baby Beauty is woman-owned, as well as LGBTQ+ and disability friendly. Each order also includes a card with various resources, for mental health and domestic violence which is really nice, it feels like the brand truly cares for its customers. Additionally, my items also arrived in a small black drawstring bag within the shipping parcel.

The Cons

My only complaint would be the shipping, it took nearly a month for my order to arrive. Slower shipping time is to be expected when shopping small, I did receive an email regarding the delay due to multiple factors. Overall, this was fine and a small price to pay for products this high quality.

Deep Dive on Order Number Two

For my second order, Hex Baby Beauty is running a 75% off sale, so I loaded up, on their split liner pallets, grabbing 15 of them, four tubes of their body paint, a wing liner stamp, and one single liner cylinder. Each of their split liner pallets features a fun name, a few of my favorites are outstanding oranges, rabid reds, passion pinks, and deep daring greens.

Almost, every shade splotched seemed better than the last, the only one I do not recommend would be the single liner in the shade Oracle, it looked silver, but went on very faint, everything else was top-tier. I did not order, what the brand is most known for their 64-liner pallet. However, I may add it to cart for a future third order. Overall, I cannot recommend this brand enough and really hope you give it a try, you will not be disappointed.
