Taylor Swift: Ranking 13 of her best outfits from 2014 in honor of 1989

We’re taking a break from some performance looks from 2014 and instead, it’s all about looks Taylor wore at award shows. One thing I realized while doing this is that Taylor Swift has a signature color and it’s green. While she doesn’t have many green looks from 2014 in general, green is truly her color.

I don’t know if it’s because of her hair or her eyes, but I think she looks amazing in green. With that being said, I wanted to spotlight the next round of her looks from 2014 so this is going to be a mix of award show looks so we’re moving onto the middle of the list with these picks.

9. Taylor Swift receives an award at the American Music Awards

Coming in at #9 is Taylor Swift’s look from the 2014 American Music Awards. At the show, she won the Dick Clark Award for Excellence and she donned an undeniably cute look. It was a rather simple one yet the color green looked great with her hair and skin tone. Plus the dress also featured a cutout in the middle which is so cool and she just looked killer so I wanted to feature it.

8. Taylor Swift was a presenter at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards

Keeping with the green theme, her look coming in at #8 is her look from the Teen Choice Awards and she’s wearing another two-piece set. It’s a crop top and skirt set that’s green with some black accents. She decided to go with a relatively simple hairstyle and some chunky earrings which looked effortlessly cute and cool.

7. Taylor attends a Pre-Grammy Event

Moving onto #7, I’m going away from the green looks and instead, decided to go with Taylor’s look from the Pre-Grammy Gala. This is a nude-colored dress featuring a black sparkly overlay and it’s different from her previous looks. With the long sleeves and short length, it’s one I haven’t heard talked about much but looks so cute on her.
