Spears and Timberlake first met in the early ’90s as cast members of The All-New Mickey Mouse Club. Several years later, the two reconnected as their music careers were taking off. Spears became a success with her hit “Baby One More Time” and Timberlake’s group NSYNC was tearing up the charts.

In 1999, Britney Spears and Timberlake began dating. Although they tried to keep their romance private, the two finally went public. The media couldn’t get enough of pop music’s new power couple.

But after three years together, the couple split in 2002. After their breakup, Timberlake released the song “Cry Me a River” alledging Spears cheated. Meanwhile, Spears remained silent about her ex-boyfriend, until now.

Spears doesn’t hold back in revealing details about her relationship with Timberlake. One of the bombshell revelations from her memoir is that she had an abortion. Spears detailed Timberlake’s reaction to her pregnancy and the heart-wrenching decision.

"“It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I anticipated. But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father. To this day, it’s one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life.”"

Spears’ abortion revelation is one of the many bombshells she’s spilled about Timberlake. The Crossroads actress also revealed that Timberlake cheated on her with another celeb, but Spears doesn’t name the person.

When it came to their breakup, Timberlake sent Spears a text to tell her it was over. Spears was heartbroken and went home to retreat. “I was comatose in Louisiana and he was happily running around Hollywood,” she wrote.

So far Timberlake hasn’t responded to Spears’ claims, but a source told Us Weekly that the singer is “trying to distance himself from her upcoming book.”
