Eliza Taylor is a comedy queen in It Only Takes A Night

Eliza Taylor is busting out her comedic chops in the latest trailer for her film, It Only Takes A Night. The 100 alum, who also was an executive producer, plays a young woman named Ruby, who experiences a wild night in London after her boyfriend breaks up with her.

There’s something magical about Eliza’s performance range: she can go from being this happy, feeling-in-love young, no-fearing woman to derailing from the heartbreaking news and taking on new boundaries in just a few minutes.

And how about her “fake” Australian accent? Eliza’s a Melbourne native, so her giving a twist on her own is a hilarious and delightful treat in the film.

Then you have Clarke Griffin- another character of Eliza’s expert performances– who had the entire world on her shoulders and endured so much pain and agony you wonder how she indeed survived. Yet, at the same time, Eliza’s deliverance of Clarke is due to her magical aura as she conveyed many emotions in the seven-season run.

The film’s synopsis gives a brief detail of the narrative.

“Four best friends on a girl’s night end up on a path none of them expected, and find out it really does take one night to change your life.”

The film is directed by Australia’s own Callan Durlik and distributed by Myriad Pictures.

Earlier this year, Eliza starred in the sci-fi thriller, I’ll Be Watching alongside her The 100 co-star (and husband) Bob Morley. In the film, Eliza and Bob portray a conflicted married couple who move to the country to try to revive their relationship but wind up in a very different (and dangerous) situation. The film is available to stream on most platforms.

It Only Takes A Night opens exclusively on July 14 at the Laemmle Monica Film Center in Santa Monica and tickets can be brought in advance online.
