For 2023, it’s all about rewatch podcasts. With a lot of Disney and Nickelodeon shows jumping on the bandwagon, there’s one we’re missing and that’s Hannah Montana.

While I do think rewatch podcasts can be a bit over-the-top at times, it does feel like a lot of fans are craving that extra knowledge. This is further reinforced by the fact that Christy Carlson Romano is now behind the creation of multiple rewatch podcasts of some of our favorite shows.

Currently, “Wizards of Waverly Pod” is out with the show being hosted by Jennifer Stone (Harper) and David DeLuise (Jerry Russo.) I feel like that is such a fun idea and goes into some of the other rewatch podcasts she’s behind.

At this point, we’re still waiting on “Ned’s Declassified Podcast Survival Guide,” “The Brotherly Love Podcast” and “Even More Stevens” to drop. With so many shows already on the slate, there is one show I’m dying to hear more about.

Will Podco give us a Hannah Montana podcast in its next batch of releases?

In an article shared by Variety, there was a mention that this was part of Podco’s first slate of releases and there is going to be more in the future. Clearly, the company is focusing on a lot of beloved TV shows so there’s no way fans won’t tune in when episodes are dropped.

While all of the already-announced shows are awesome and I do plan on listening, I think there should be a Hannah Montana podcast announced next. There is a multitude of reasons with the first being Hannah Montana was a vastly popular show and is one I know I have fond memories of watching and enjoying. It would be nice to get a behind-the-scenes look at such a beloved series.

Additionally, Hannah Montana has enough episodes to justify a rewatch podcast. The series ended up with 4 seasons which included 98 episodes and a movie. While I don’t think a show has to be incredibly long for a rewatch podcast, it’s good to be able to skip around and maybe focus on some more popular episodes.

As weird as it might sound, this could be a fun way to introduce Hannah Montana to the next generation. I feel like this show has a lot of appeals for both people rewatching and introducing it to your kids or nieces and nephews. I mean it’s a girl who moonlights as a pop star and lives a normal life most of the time.

For hosts, I feel like there’s a plethora of people to choose from but I’d personally love to see Emily Osment who played Lily, and Jason Earles who played Jackson host together. I know Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus probably wouldn’t want to host but could be fun guest stars. Then there’s also Mitchel Musso and Moisés Arias, too.

Hannah Montana also had a rotating door of guest stars including Cody Linley, Tammin Sursok, and Drew Roy to name a few. There are also musical guests which included David Archuleta, Iyaz, and even, Jesse McCartney. Either way, I feel like there is so much Podco could do with this concept that it’s brilliant not to use. While I don’t know what the next batch Podco releases will be, I hope they decide to produce a Hannah Montana podcast next.
