For some, the new year is all about becoming a new you. For romance readers, it’s all about the new romance books being released.

While there were some hiccups in 2022, it was overall a good year to be a romance reader. Even so, there are a lot of books to look forward to in the new year. You’ll eventually see a list of those but right now, we’re talking about January releases.

January is the first month of the year and it can be a gamble to release books this month because early releases can sometimes get lost in the shuffle. However, if you’re lucky, the book will stay with you throughout the entire year.

With that being said, let’s get into the romance books being released in January 2023.

These are some anticipated romance books being released in January 2023.

Before we get started, I wanted to talk about my normal “disclaimer” which is that I can’t feature every romance book, but if you’re looking for more, make sure to check out Goodreads or any other bookish site to find out what other books are coming in January.

  • Highly Suspicious and Unfairly Cute by Talia Hibbert (January 3)
  • Back in a Spell (The Witches of Thistle Grove) by Lana Harper (January 3)
  • The Muse by Emma Scott (January 8)
  • Exes and O’s by Amy Lea (January 10)
  • Midnight Duet by Jen Comfort (January 10)
  • The Rom-Com Agenda by Jayne Denker (January 10)
  • Glitterland by Alexis Hall (January 17)
  • An Optimist’s Guide to Heartbreak by Jennifer Hartmann (January 17)
  • Do I Know You? by Emily Wibberley and Austin Siegemund-Broka (January 24)
  • Georgie, All Along by Kate Clayborn (January 24)
  • Sorry, Bro by Taleen Voskuni (January 31)
  • Final Offer by Lauren Asher (January 31)
  • The Second You’re Single by Cara Tanamachi (January 31)

As you can see, January is stacked with new romance book releases and honestly, I’m pretty excited about a majority of them. Personally, I’m sure excited to see Cal’s story in the Dreamland Bilionares series along with another adult release from Emily Wibberley and Austin Siegemund-Broka as I really enjoyed their YA works.
