Christmas shopping hours can be a hectic time for really everyone across the globe. The demand for gifts increases significantly in December as people are eager to find the perfect present for their loved ones. Because of this, some stores extend their hours, giving customers more time to shop. As the holidays approach, people are also looking for their packages to be delivered in time for Christmas. If you’ve got a FedEx package en route and are wondering if it’ll get to its destination in time for Christmas Day, here’s what you need to know.

Will FedEx deliver on Christmas, December 25, 2022?

The good news is we don’t have to guess the answer, as FedEx has their holiday hours listed on their website for our convenience. And if you’re planning to have something delivered on Christmas Day, it looks like bad news. All of their delivery options — including FedEx Home Delivery® and FedEx Express® — will not be in service on Dec. 25, 2022.

FedEx Same Day® City has a “modified service” on Christmas Day, though they specify: “Route Service not available. Regular SameDay City service supported by third-party partners.”

The good news is, FedEx should be back up and running like usual on Dec. 26, 2022, the day after Christmas. If your gifts arrive late, it’s possible they’ll only be one day behind the big day.

FedEx was founded in 1971 it didn’t take long for it to become one of the world’s largest package delivery companies. People use FedEx for a variety of different services including ground and express freight, freight forwarding, supply chain solutions, and document processing. They are also well known for their fast, reliable, and secure delivery services, shipping packages around the world in a timely manner. Of course, however, they’ve got to take breaks for holidays as we all do.

Here’s to hoping your packages are delivered as quickly as possible and you enjoy Christmas Day with loved ones!
