Appearing in She-Hulk is all part of Megan Thee Stallion’s plan
By Meg Dowell
Megan Thee Stallion is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe — sort of. The musician told The Cut recently that she’d be making a guest appearance in the current superhero comedy She-Hulk: Attorney At Law.
She didn’t give any hints about her role, but it won’t be the first time she’s graced the small screen as an actor.
She-Hulk may only be a few episodes in, but it’s already gearing up to be the MCU Disney+ show with more guest stars than any other. Jameela Jamil crashed into the series’ first episode (literally) as Titania, and so far, Tim Roth’s Abomination has yet to disappoint. And it won’t be long before Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock shows up to steer the series into even more chaos.
Megan Thee Stallion isn’t new to acting — she’s appeared in P-Valley and has recently been cast in an upcoming musical comedy. Guest roles are how many actors get their start, but she’s already thinking many steps beyond that.
Appearing in a Marvel series is another milestone along Megan’s journey to taking on larger roles behind the camera in Hollywood. She told The Cut: “I don’t feel like I’m only going to be an actress — I feel like I’m also going to be a director and I’m also going to be a producer.”
Because she’s found so much success in one hard-to-break-into avenue already — “Hot Girl Summer,” anyone? — her continued venture into calling the shots on the small screen only makes sense. Why stop at topping the charts when you could one day produce your own movie or TV show too?
While her appearance remains a mystery, keep a close eye out for Megan Thee Stallion — and any of the other confirmed and rumored guests — in an upcoming episode
New episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law drop Thursdays on Disney+.
