Are you a music fan? Do you wish you could attend a concert but for one reason or another? Do you want to get that experience while helping a good cause? Well, the Global Citizen Festival is back and it has announced its first round of performers and appearances.

The festival is the longest-running global campaign that sets out to find an end to poverty. This includes missions of raising the female voice, ending world hunger, ending national and international debt, and closing the climate finance gap.

Its timing coincides with the UN General Assembly. Global Citizen has done this purposely,  to raise awareness globally and increase the probability of action from global leaders. Tickets are awarded by taking action in assisting the organization in its advocacy work and earning points.  This year marks the 10th anniversary of the festival that unites leaders, activists, and speakers, known across the world.

The lineup of performers this year is eclectic! Performers that have been announced to appear from New York City include Metallica, Charlie Puth, Jonas Brothers, MÅNESKIN, Mariah Carey, Mickey Guyton, and Rosalía. Nick Jonas’ wife,  Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who also serves as a Global Citizen Ambassador, will host the show. The concert will take place in two locations – New York City’s Central Park and the Black Star Square in Accra, Ghana. Usher, Gyakie, H.E.R., Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Stormzy, SZA, and TEMS are set to take the Black Star Square stage.

While you can learn more about getting tickets here, there is no need to worry if you are not located anywhere near these locations. The concert will continue to be broadcast live. It will be available for viewing through ABC, ABC News Live, FX, Hulu, iHeartRadio, TimesLIVE, Twitter, and YouTube. It will air on Saturday, Sept. 24, from 2 p.m. ET to 10 p.m. ET, with a primetime special titled “Global Citizen Festival: Take Action NOW” airing on  ABC on Sunday, Sept. 25, at 7 p.m. ET.
