Marvel isn’t usually known for being cute. However, 2023’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur might change the tides.

While news about Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur has been sparse, thankfully the show did have a panel at San Diego Comic-Con. Additionally, a clip was released as a first look at the series and it’s unlike any of Marvel’s other shows.

As the show is based on the comic book series of the same name, it’s bound to have tons of fans already. Even so, if you need a bit more convincing, then you’re in luck.

With so much going for it, there are just a handful of reasons why you should check out the show in 2023.

Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur need to be on your 2023 watchlist.

Obviously, the first reason has to be because of the clip shown at the 2022 San Diego Comic-Con. It looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun and honestly, it gives a good idea of the tone and humor in Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. The clip is going to be featured below if you haven’t had the chance to watch it.

If you don’t know the concept of the show, that’s more than enough reason to check it out. If you’re not as brave though, Disney shared a press release describing the series: “Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, the highly anticipated series from Disney Branded Television, which centers on 13-year-old super-genius Lunella Lafayette and her 10-ton T-Rex, Devil Dinosaur.” It sounds like it’s going to be unlike anything Marvel has produced before.

Moving onto the next reason, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur seems like it’s going to be incredibly cute and that’s not a word most of us use to describe Marvel shows. If anything, the shows are known for being dark and gritty. Once in a while, it’s nice to actually watch a Marvel show that’s more light and fun.

If that didn’t sway you, the press release also featured some info on future guest stars and what a star-studded list it is. Some of the guest stars include Alison Brie, Daveed Diggs, Maya Hawke, and Wesley Snipes. Those are some pretty well-known voices lending their talents to Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur considering the show is only in its first season.

If the first four reasons above weren’t enough, the cast for Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is top-tier with Diamond White as Lunella aka Moon Girl along with Alfre Woodard, Laurence Fishburne, Sasheer Zamata, and Gary Anthony Williams. Frankly, if that’s not enough to convince you to watch the show, then nothing else will. Regardless, it’s worth keeping an eye out for Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur.
