Meghan Markle

It’s hard to deny that Meghan Markle will be part of the history books. And while some may say that is solely due to her marriage to Prince Harry, there is so much more to Markle than her royal husband.

So why do we think that the Duchess of Sussex is one of those women who is making history right now? The biggest thing about the Duchess is the fact that she has long been a proponent of women’s rights. And as someone who fights for social justice, as well as conservation, we can’t help but appreciate the attention that she brings to any number of causes.

One major cause that the Duchess has been a proponent of over the last few years is vaccine equity, with a major push to help distribute COVID-19 vaccines on a global scale.

And as part of her commitment to helping others, she and her husband started their own charitable organization under the name Archewell, a foundation set up to allow them to help multiple groups at any given time.

From actress to royal, Meghan Markle has taken her celebrity and done her part to make a difference in the world.
