Since Nancy Drew ended its third season on January 28, fans have taken to social media to ask The CW for updates on the show’s future. And now we know!

After nearly two months of waiting desperately for news, The CW has finally announced a slate of renewals that includes Nancy Drew. This means that we will get to see Nancy in her very own office, all while getting to see what comes next for all of our NACE dreams.

And honestly, whether it is because of all the fans campaigning on Twitter (there were new posts every single day asking when The CW would be renewing the show for its fourth season) or because of the spin-off series about Tom Swift, it is clear that the network heard our pleas and delivered. Seriously though, the fans were out in force when it came to trying to get an answer about a new season, with one Twitter user going so far as to run a daily campaign where they added a Nancy Drew character to another movie or TV show every single day that the show was not renewed.

Whatever it was that got the job done, we are just excited to get more of the Drew Crew in our lives!

Nancy Drew returning for a fourth season on The CW

According to TV Insider, the CEO and Chairman for the network, Mark Pedowitz, had this to say about the renewals:

"As we prepare for the 2022-23 season, these scripted series, along with the alternative series we renewed earlier, will serve as the start of a solid foundation utilizing some of our most-watched series for us to build on for next year and beyond. These dramas are also important to our overall digital strategy, as they are some of our most-streamed and socially-engaged programming, and we look forward to adding more new and returning series to help strengthen and expand our multiplatform footprint."

So what does this mean for the future? Well, at least right now, we don’t have to worry about not getting to see what comes next for Nancy Drew, Ace, George, and the rest of the Drew Crew. While we don’t exactly have premiere dates just yet, at least we know it will be coming.

Thankfully, the fans were truly behind this show and making it known that they wanted more. And we are here for that.

Now this means that we have plenty of time to start speculating on what we might see next if there will be another crossover between Nancy Drew and Tom Swift, and even share some things we hope to see in the new season. This news means we have a lot to look forward to when the 2022-2023 TV season kicks off in the Fall.
