Bloomingdale’s new Bridgerton-inspired collection has finally dropped (just in time for the Season 2 premiere)
By Elaine Selna
After a successful first season of the Regency-era romance series Bridgerton, based on the Julia Quinn novels, fans can’t wait for the upcoming second season. Fans will get to travel back to 19th-century England when the Shonda Rhimes-produced show returns to Netflix on March 25. Those who wish they could join the ton during the social season can now fulfill those wishes thanks to Bloomingdale’s latest collection inspired by the show.
Now through May 15, fans can find these items at The Carousel @ Bloomingdale’s: Bridgerton pop-up shop in-store at the New York City flagship location on 59th street and online. The collection features 235 items ranging from beautiful dresses, stunning jewelry, and intricately detailed pieces of home décor. Many amazing designers contributed to this collection, including Cult Gaia, Malone Souliers, Selkie, LoveShackFancy, and Wedgwood.
During the first season, fans obsessed over the fashion the characters wore, and it inspired a whole TikTok trend called Regencycore. Now you can dress like Daphne Bridgerton but with a modern spin, thanks to the dresses in this collection. One of our favorites has to be the Hope For Flowers by Tracy Reese Twist Frock Dress ($408). The pink floral-patterned midi-length dress features a sweetheart neckline and twisted front with short puff sleeves that’ll be the envy of the ton. For an even more trendy style, Selkie has you covered with the brand’s Puff Dress ($295) which features the Regency-era classic square neckline and empire waistline but diverges in length. This mini dress features puff sleeves to the elbows in a gossamer pastel-colored pattern.
Pair either of these dresses with a set of the Malone Souliers gilded, slip-on style Maureen 85 pointed toe pumps ($625) or a mother-of-pearl-inspired Cult Gaia Eos box clutch ($328) for an outfit befitting a debutante. You can also dress up your four-legged best friend with a Max Bone x Christian Cowan chunky knit sweater with feather plumes ($95). Finally, get your home ready for suiters by checking out the Wedgwood x Sheila Bridges collection of home goods, including teapots, plates, and teacups with saucers.
