Mariah Carey partners with Milk Bar to create a special holiday treat
Tis the season to create those yummy holiday treats and confections! Christmas songstress Mariah Carey has partnered up with the bakery Milk Bar to create a special cake with her liquor brand, Black Irish. Earlier this year, Mariah launched her Irish whiskey line that comes in three flavors: white chocolate, salted caramel, and original. The brand name plays a tribute to Mariah’s heritage, which is African-American, Irish, and Venezuelan.
Called the “Double Chocolate Caramel Cream Cake In Celebration Of Mariah Carey’s Black Irish” the dessert will only be available for a limited time, with a price tag of $80. The six-inch and three-layered cake is described on the Milk Bar site, “a double chocolate chip cake with cheesecake, gooey caramel, coffee milk crumble, and caramel frosting” with the Salted Caramel Black Irish added in.
There is no need to be concerned if you run out; the cake will serve 8-12 people. If you are hosting your annual Christmas party this year, this dessert will surely please your guests and be a smash at your gathering.
Furthermore, Milk Bar will ship to any US location, so that you do not have to travel to any of their locations. How sweet is that?
If you are just going to stay in this year, why not enjoy your slice of the “chart-topping” cake with a viewing of the new AppleTV+ holiday special, Mariah’s Christmas: The Magic Continues? Mariah will perform some of her classic holiday hits, including “All I Want For Christmas Is You” and her new Christmas single, “Fall In Love At Christmas”. Additionally, her twins, Monroe and Morrocan will be making a cameo.
In a press release for the Food Network, Mariah disclosed the following regarding her special cake:
"“The holidays are the perfect time for something sweet. … This cake is perfect for holiday parties or simply for indulging in your sweet tooth — a tasty morsel that I know everyone will enjoy.”"
