The movie is about a reunion and it is a reunion indeed. After the last High School Musical film, High School Musical 3: Senior Year, took place in 2008, Monique Coleman and Corbin Bleu will be together on screen once again. It has been over ten years in the making! The two will star together in a Lifetime film, A Christmas Dance Reunion set to debut this Friday, December 3rd, at 8/7c as part of the network’s holiday lineup.

This High School Musical duo is back on-screen together again.

The High School Musical duo played love interests in the original film. Although the main characters were Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez, the two starred as the best friends to the main characters that helped them “make their way around the school” and ultimately ended up falling for each other also. Now in A Christmas Dance Reunion, Monique stars as Successful attorney Lucy Mortimer who returns to the Winterleigh Resort with her mother to help celebrate the final season of operation. Lucy’s mission is to recreate the events that the resort once held, including the holiday dance. In doing so, she gets reunited with her childhood dance partner and the owner’s nephew,Barrett Brewster, played by Corbin Bleu.

Hearing that the film will most likely have dance numbers and maybe even original music is exciting. While it is not a High School Musical reunion, seeing the pair reunite is just as good of a reunion. Being that it is in a holiday setting makes it just as magical! The High School Musical cast had a chemistry that resonated with audiences of all ages that live on to this day which makes everyone want to watch. Will you be watching also?
