The newest original movie to hit Hallmark Movies and Mysteries is The Vows We Keep, a celebration of traditions and a reminder that sometimes change isn’t for the better.

The Vows We Keep synopsis

Hazel (Fiona Gubelmann) has been tasked with organizing the perfect wedding. She’s an event planner so she knows how to rein in the chaos and get the job done, but this wedding is special because it’s her sister’s wedding and the Rosewood Inn is her dream location because it’s where their parents were married. Unfortunately, the Rosewood is being sold so Hazel has a month to get the wedding organized.

Hazel works with Jared (Antonio Cayonne), whose job it is to ensure the estate is ready to go on the market. Though the Inn is booked through the sale date, he agrees to allow Hazel’s sister to get married there and in return Hazel agrees to help plan their final events. What Hazel and Jared don’t realize is that working together brings them closer than they ever could imagine.

The Vows We Keep cast

Fans might recognize Fiona Gubelmann (Hazel) from her role on Wilfred, or as Dr. Morgan Reznick on The Good Wife. She’s appeared on several TV series including Modern Family, Mad Men, New Girl and Castle. She’s also a regular on the Hallmark Channel, appearing in favorites like Christmas Next Door and Royally Ever After.

Antonio Cayonne (Jared) is of Trinidadian and Dutch descent, and his roots are influenced by arts and activism. He has always been heavily involved in theater, and he has appeared in shows like The Magicians, Prison Break and Chesapeake Shores.

Jessica Harmon directed the movie, and the script was written by Andrea Nasfell and Nicole Baxter.
