The penultimate episode of In the Dark season three is in the books and we have finally found Jess and proven that Felix is the ultimate friend to Murphy.

Over the last three seasons, we have watched as Murphy Mason has proven time and time again that she is not a good friend. She is both selfish and a user. But at the same time, people like Jess, Darnell, and Felix have proven that they are good friends.

However, in the penultimate episode of season three, In the Dark proved once and for all that it is Felix who is truly Murphy’s best friend. Why you may ask. Because at the end of the day, he is willing to go to jail for her. He knows that Murphy didn’t kill anyone and he wants her to find Jess when no one else is looking.

He loves Murphy and he is willing to sacrifice himself for her. But after sacrificing so much for Jess, and Jess doing the same thing, by the end of this episode we learned a hard truth – Jess was already out there living a better life without Murphy.

Felix has proven that he will do anything for Murphy on In the Dark

That’s right – Jess is alive. And not only that, she has a job. She was out of the Murphy sphere. But now Murphy has found Jess and the bubble is about to burst.

With Felix sitting in jail because of Murphy and technically Jess, Murphy on the run from the police for a murder she didn’t commit, and Jess out here living her life, things are about to go down. But the problem is, we can’t imagine any of these people getting out of trouble.

Felix is impeding an investigation. Evidence points to Murphy as a murderer. And Jess is trying to move on. We don’t know what comes next, but at this point the only thing we have is proof that Felix is truly Murphy’s best friend and willing to do anything he can to protect her.

Will this end well for him? Highly doubtful. But at the same time, we can’t imagine things going well for Murphy either.

dark. Next. Roswell is giving us new relationships and is that a spark between Kyle and Isobel?

But what do you think? Do you think Murphy will be exonerated? And will Felix’s commitment to Murphy be his downfall? Plus, we have to know how his willingness to take the wrap for Murphy will make her feel. Honestly, what did you think of this episode of In the Dark and even this entire season?
