If you’re looking for a fun, fresh and utterly satisfying movie to watch then look no further than Love Strikes Twice, the newest original movie coming to the Hallmark Channel Fall Harvest 2021 lineup. When a woman realizes her marriage is losing its luster and wishes for a “do-over” she gets more than she bargained for when she wakes up 15 years in the past with a chance to do things differently.

Love Strikes Twice synopsis

Maggie (Katie Findlay) is a woman who has everything in order. Her carefully ordered life includes an incredibly successful career as a lawyer, parents who are celebrating their 40th anniversary, a best friend who is also a fashion designer and her husband Josh (Wyatt Nash), a history teacher.

Josh feels like he’s always cast to the side in Maggie’s life and she can’t deny it, so when she runs into her college boyfriend Rick (Marshall Williams) she realizes that she probably ended up with the wrong guy.

She makes a wish to be able to go back and do everything over, and when she hits her head she wakes up and realizes that her wish has come true. Somehow Maggie has traveled 15 years into the past and she has a chance to make changes in her life at a pivotal moment. But when she stops to consider what she really wants, her knowledge of the future changes the way she sees things and she might be looking at things in the wrong way.

Love Strikes Twice cast

Katie Findlay is the heart and soul of Love Strikes Twice. She’s starred in several series including Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, Nancy Drew, Jordan Peele’s reboot of The Twilight Zone and The Magicians.

Wyatt Nash, the Nashville native who plays Josh, has been seen on Glow, Dear White People and Riverdale. He also appeared in Ford v Ferrari in 2019.

Marshall Williams (Rick) has appeared in Glee and the Disney Channel movie How to Build a Better Boy. He also appeared in the Liam Neeson movie The Ice Road, which also starred Laurence Fishburne.

Love Strikes Twice also stars Sharon Bajer (Estelle Hartman), Alex Poch-Goldin (Georger Hartman) and Matthew Lupu as Maggie’s brother Ash.

Jeff Beesley directed the movie from a script by C. Jay Cox.
