It appears that it is a wrap for Elizabeth Olsen in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The actress who will be reviving her character Wanda Maximoff has completely finished filming for the role. Does this mean we’re one step closer to the entire film being wrapped and we can finally get a trailer?

Fans were first made aware of Olsen being wrapped after hairstylist Karen Bartek shared an image on her Instagram with the caption “Not ‘Strange ‘ Anymore !! Wrapped again” showing herself, Elizabeth and dialect coach Courtney L. Young. She originally confirmed her wrapping up in June so this is her finishing reshoots.

Here’s what we know about the film so far. For one, it’s going to be one of the scariest movies the Marvel Cinematic Universe has come out with. Olsen has been quoted saying that “It’s a very scary movie. It’s like old Sam Raimi. They’re trying to create the scariest Marvel movie.” We also know that it will involve the Time Stone. One synopsis that’s been released says “as an old friend-turned-enemy puts an end to his plans and causes Strange to unleash unspeakable evil.”

We also know that Wanda Maximoff will be involved, of course. It’s not clear whether she will be one of the ones going against Doctor Strange (played by Benedict Cumberbatch) or helping him along in the multiverse.

We’ll also see the return of Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams and Chiwetel Ejiofor in their respective roles from the original film. Newcomer Xochitl Gomez will be entering the MCU as America Chavez also known as Miss America. One further casting that hasn’t been confirmed yet is Loki (played by Tom Hiddleston), who had direct contact with the opening of the multiverse. It makes sense for him to be involved, right?

Honestly, I’m just excited for the continuation of Wanda’s story that was opened up during WandaVision. She’s become such a powerful force and I cannot wait to see what they do with her. Unless they kill her, in which case, I will riot.
