A brand new Signature Mystery is coming to Hallmark Movies and Mysteries on Sunday, September 12, starring Rochelle Aytes and Keith Robinson. Redemption in Cherry Springs is the story of a journalist who returns home for a restful break but it turns out to be anything but when a longtime friend goes missing.

Redemption in Cherry Springs synopsis

Melanie (Aytes) is at the top of her career as an award-winning investigative journalist. When a big story leads to some fallout, she leaves Boston to get away from it all in her hometown of Cherry Springs. Her Uncle Joe (Frankie Faison) is happy to have his niece home, and they’re ready to enjoy each other’s company but the disappearance of an old friend leads Melanie to start searching for answers.

Jake Collins (Robinson) is the detective working the case and while he’s glad to have Melanie’s keen insight on the case he can’t overlook her methods. When they put their heads together they’re able to track down more answers but they’re not ready for what they find.

Redemption in Cherry Springs cast

Rochelle Aytes has appeared in many popular series like S.W.A.T., The Purge and Hawaii Five-O. She also produced and appeared in The Men in My Life, a drama that loosely follows her life’s story.

Keith Robinson is probably best known for his role as C.C. White in Dreamgirls. He performed “Patience”, a song from the movie, at the Academy Awards. The multitalented actor is as comfortable singing as he is acting and he’s at home when he can find projects that combine his passions.
