Hallmark Channel’s Fall Harvest 2021 kicks off in a big way with the premiere of Roadhouse Romance starring Lauren Alaina and Tyler Hynes. This charming romance debuts Saturday, September 11.

Roadhouse Romance synopsis

Lieutenant Callie Jackson (Alaina) has been serving her country on a two-year tour of duty. When she comes home she discovers that a lot has changed. This is the first time she’s been home since the death of her beloved grandfather, the owner of Tucker’s Roadhouse.

The Roadhouse is known for its ambiance, great music and its barbeque but while Callie was away her mother and aunt lost the recipe for Tucker’s secret BBQ sauce. Callie steps in to help the family prepare for the fall festival because the restaurant needs all the support it can get.

Luke (Hynes) is on his way to meet his girlfriend who is filming in nearby Nashville. He’s a TV producer and he’s on the road with his manager and friend. When they’re unexpectedly delayed at Tucker’s Roadhouse it turns out to be a serendipitous moment for Luke and Callie as they both start to see that what’s most important is what’s already in front of them.

Roadhouse Romance cast

Lauren Alaina might be best known as an American Idol runner-up, but since her time on the show she has been working on her music and doing some acting on the side. She will be performing two new songs in Roadhouse Romance, “Run” and “What Do You Think Of”, both of which will appear on her new album.

Tyler Hynes is a familiar face on the Hallmark Channel. He recently starred opposite Lacey Chabert in Sweet Caroline and is known for many holiday favorites like It’s Christmas, Eve and On the 12 Date of Christmas. He’s also a prolific director, producer and musician.

Roadhouse Romance is directed by Paul Ziller with a script from Sally Robinson.

Roadhouse Romance premieres on Saturday, September 11, at 9pm ET/PT on Hallmark Channel. It will become available to view on Hallmark on Demand the following day, and it will also air again as Fall Harvest 2021 continues. Check your local listings for upcoming airdates.
