Get ready for thirty-one days and nights of spooktacular fun and fright: Cable network Freeform is continuing its annual October tradition, 31 Nights of Halloween, and this year, there will be even more ‘treats’ to gather. Which is always a good thing.

Spooky season classics will be returning to the line-up, such as Ghostbusters  andThe Goonies. And is it truly Halloween season unless you add a spell or two of the Sanderson sisters from Hocus Pocus? The Simpsons and Family Guy will also be airing their Halloween episodes during the event, alongside animated hits such as The Nightmare Before Christmas and the Shrek franchise.

Added to the cauldron this year is the original Jaws from 1975 and its sequels, along with Freeform’s premiere of Disney’s Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.  Angelina Jolie does a splendid job of portraying the queen from Sleeping Beauty. More thrilling additions to the 31 Nights of Halloween lineup include Men In Black II and Cowboys vs. Aliens, two films that depict the often frightening face-offs between humans and other-worldly aliens.

Disney fanatics will get a behind-the-look at spooky season at the Mouse House with Decorating Disney: Halloween Magic.  In this documentary, the Disney parks are transformed into bewitching and frightening masterpieces for all to enjoy.  Even if most cannot head to either Disneyland or Disney World due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the presentation is sure to bring in some spooky fun and maybe provide some inspiration for at-home Halloween decor.

No matter how Halloween is celebrated, it is always more entertaining with 31 Nights.

Take a look at the official schedule for Freeform’s 31 Nights of Halloween below.  All slots are in Eastern time and are subject to change.
