Hallmark’s Sweet Revenge: A Hannah Swensen Mystery: Synopsis, cast, trailer
Alison Sweeney and Cameron Mathison are back on the case in an all-new Hannah Swensen story on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries. In Sweet Revenge: A Hannah Swensen Mystery a death at Hannah’s gym has the police on the hunt for a murderer, and it doesn’t help when treats from Hannah’s bakery are found at the crime scene.
Sweet Revenge synopsis
Hannah Swensen is busy working at her bakery, so she tends to hit the 24-hour gym early in the morning before she heads to work. When she comes across a dead body one morning it throws her world into chaos. Her fiance Mike Kingston comes in to investigate the crime, and he’s been paired with a new partner from the state to help keep an eye on him.
Naturally, Hannah can’t help but try to help solve the murder, especially when some of her baked goods are discovered at the crime scene, which means the person who killed the woman had been in Hannah’s shop.
While Hannah and Mike work on the case in their own ways, Hannah’s mother Delores is preparing for the debut of her new book, a Regency romance that might borrow too much from real life stories. Delores is also busy trying to help Hannah prepare for her upcoming wedding, so between the murder, the bakery, the wedding and the book launch there is no shortage of things keeping Hannah busy!
Sweet Revenge cast
Alison Sweeney returns as plucky baker and amateur sleuth Hannah Swensen. Cameron Mathison returns as Detective Mike Kingston. Both Sweeney and Mathison are regulars around the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies and Mysteries, starring in a variety of holiday movies, seasonal movies and mysteries.
Barbara Niven (Chesapeake Shores) returns as Hannah’s meddling but good-intentioned mother Delores.
The movie is directed by Pat Williams with a script by Marcy Holland. Sweeney also serves as an executive producer on the project.
