Hallmark Channel’s Love, For Real release date, cast, trailer and more

At this point reality dating shows are a dime a dozen, so when two best friends decide to join a reality show to help them achieve their own goals, the last thing they expect is to find true love. Hallmark Channel’s Love, For Real is the newest entry in their Summer Nights lineup and it features a refreshingly fun story with a cast that you’ll keep rooting for until the very end.

Love, For Real premieres on Saturday, July 31 at 9pm ET/PT as part of Summer Nights.

Love, For Real cast and synopsis

Hallmark always does a great job with casting but they have done a particularly brilliant job finding a cast that works incredibly well together.

The movie stars Chloe Bridges (The Carrie Diaries), Scott Michael Foster (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Taiana Tully (Aloha Surf Hotel) and High School Musical’s Corbin Bleu.

Best friends Haley (Bridges) and Bree (Tully) superfans of the hottest dating show on television. When Bree comes up with the idea to audition for the show, she tells Hayley to join her to drum up publicity for her fashion line.

Producer Luke immediately connects with Hayley and comes up with a plan of his own: Change the rules of the game to allow the best friends to arrive together and compete for Marco’s (Bleu) affection.

What none of them realize is that finding love on a reality show isn’t easy, but it works really well when you’re not actually looking for it.

Fun fact: Bleu’s real-life wife has a cameo in the movie as one of the other contestants.

How to watch Love, For Real

You can watch Love, For Real when it debuts on July 31 at 9pm ET/PT on the Hallmark Channel. After the premiere date, it will be available on Hallmark On Demand and it will also continue in the lineup as part of the Summer Nights programming through the end of the summer.
