Hallmark Channel’s Summer Nights 2021 programming comes to an end with a trip to a sunny seaside beach town in the all-new original movie Sand Dollar Cove. This charming movie brings Aly Michalka and Chad Michael Murray together in a story that seeks to find the common ground between honoring the past and embracing the future.

Synopsis

When real estate development project manager Elli (Michalka) is sent to Sand Dollar Cove by her company to acquire the land they want for their new beachside resort, she thinks it will be a fairly easy negotiation. The town has been hit hard by a storm that’s keeping tourism down, so selling the land and looking at all of the potential revenue from the resort would seem to be an upside.

However, Brody (Murray) isn’t willing to sell his land because he’s concerned that Elli’s company is going to tear down the town’s beloved fishing pier. His family has many ties to the pier and he’s not willing to let it be torn down, so together they try to find a way to make it work. Unfortunately time is not on their side, and while their relationship is growing stronger they’re in a race against time to find a solution.

Cast

In addition to Aly Michalka (iZombie) and Chad Michael Murray (Riverdale), Sand Dollar Cove also stars Clare Bowen and Glynnis O’Connor.

The movie is based on a book by Nancy Naigle. Alex Wright adapted the script and Frank Gerber directed.

How to Watch Sand Dollar Cove

Sand Dollar Cove premieres Saturday, June 26, at 9pm ET/PT on the Hallmark Channel. If you miss the premiere, don’t worry because it will make its way into the rotation throughout the week so be sure to check local listings to see when it will be on again. It will also be available on Hallmark On Demand on June 27.
