28 thoughts I had watching Fear The Walking Dead season 6 episode 15, U.S.S. Pennsylvania

Fear The Walking Dead season 6 may only have two episodes left, but they are going to be game-changing installments. Fear The Walking Dead season 6 episode 15, “U.S.S. Pennsylvania,” has the taut intensity of a mystery thriller, and the consequences of what happens in this episode will change the series’ landscape forever.

Teddy’s plan to wipe out all remaining life so that nature can start over finally kicked into gear when Morgan gave the key that Teddy needed to Riley. Now Morgan and the others have to try and stop Teddy’s plan to launch missiles from the U.S.S. Pennsylvania, a Navy sub that washed ashore after the fall of the world.

After Teddy locked Alicia in a bunker so that she can restart the world after he wipes the slate clean Teddy set in plan in motion. After receiving Alicia’s message before she was imprisoned the group, led by Morgan, arrives at the sub to try and stop Teddy from destroying the world.

The official synopsis for Fear The Walking Dead season 6 episode 15 describes some of the intensity of this episode.

"“In a race against time to stop Teddy’s plan, motives are revealed and convictions are tested as Morgan and his allies infiltrate and make their way through the beached submarine that holds the tools for Teddy’s destruction.”"

But those pieces don’t really accurately convey what’s really at stake in this episode.

That being said, here are my reactions to watching Fear The Walking Dead season 6 episode 15, “U.S.S. Pennsylvania,” for the first time:

1.       This feels really ominous.

2.       Hate. You.

3.       This is honestly fascinating though. John Glover is a maestro.

4.       Well there it is. All cards on the table.

5.       How convenient.

6.       That’s bonkers.

7.       That parallel though… Well done.

8.       Claustrophobia is real…

9.       Um, is that a good idea? I think that’s probably not a good idea.

10.   Saw that coming.

11.   Strand is only concerned about Alicia. He doesn’t care about the rest of you.

12.   Loving these constant parallels…

13.   If I wasn’t claustrophic before I definitely would be now.

14.   Facts, Morgan.

15.   Facts, Strand.

16.   This is going to end badly.

17.   That is frankly horrifying. Good Lord.
