The Underground Railroad, Solos, and more coming to Amazon Prime Video this May
There are plenty of exciting new titles coming to Amazon Prime Video this month. From new movies to the entire Alien franchise, there’s a lot of movies and TV shows to keep us excited this month!
The biggest thing coming to Amazon Prime Video this month is Barry Jenkins’ The Underground Railroad. The director behind Oscar-winning film Moonlight is bringing us a limited series based on the Colson Whitehead novel on May 14th and we can definitely expect Jenkins’ style and heartwrenching storytelling to be a part of it.
The Alien franchise is also coming to Amazon Prime Video. Starting with Alien directed by Ridley Scott and introducing the world to Ellen Ripley, the movie brought us into space and frightened audiences with the idea of an alien bursting out of our chest like John Hurt.
One Fine Day is also coming to the streaming platform. Starring Michelle Pfeiffer and George Clooney, it’s a story of two single parents trying to watch their kids while spending the day through their respective jobs until they let their love for each other shine through. It’s a beautiful rom-com and a movie that is iconic!
