Godzilla vs. Kong, the Snyder Cut and more on HBO Max in March

March is shaping up to be a big month for HBO Max, with the long-awaited arrival of Zack Snyder’s director’s cut of the 2017 superhero epic Justice Leauge.

The event is a culmination of a years-long #ReleasetheSnyderCut campaign, which involved everyone from hardcore fans to the film’s stars. The updated version of the film – which was originally completed by Joss Whedon after Snyder had to step down in the wake of a family tragedy – will clock in at over four hours in length, featuring new scenes and characters that did not appear in the original. Other hotly anticipated titles this month include the big-budget monster sequel Godzilla vs. Kong, which will premiere in theaters and debut on the streaming service on the same day (March 31). It will be available to subscribers for 21 days.

Notable classic films arriving on the platform include Speed with Keanu Reeves, the Ocean’s Eleven trilogy with George Clooney, and all three Beverley Hills Cop movies starring Eddie Murphy.
