Most romantic places to steal a kiss at Walt Disney World
While Walt Disney World is the happiest place on Earth, it can also be romantic. Even though there are magical moments waiting at every turn, Disney Parks aren’t just for little kids and families. Mickey and Minnie Mouse are an iconic couple and it makes sense that the theme parks are the perfect place to steal a romantic moment.
Most people can recall their first Disney Parks visit. From their favorite character picture spot to that iconic Mickey ears balloon that seemed to soar in the sky, those memories are etched in time. For some people, those moments are what add to the special Disney connection as they get older.
Whether it is a date with a special someone or that ultimate Disney proposal, Walt Disney World is full of picture-perfect spots that seem to capture that romantic moment. From well-known spots to hidden getaways, there are many places that could add some sparks to a couple’s visit.
Can you find the romance at Walt Disney World?
For many people, Cinderella’s Castle is the iconic princess symbol. While there are great picture spots, the little quiet area to the right of the castle is a great place to enjoy a smooch. In the shadows of the castle, often with some ducks in the pond, you can imagine that all the kids have disappeared and you have the whole area to yourself.
If you are staying on Disney property, the Boardwalk is a great place to stroll at night. While the performers are entertaining and the music is playing, this area could be a great spot to enjoy with a loved one. Even if there are no fireworks in the distance, you can make your own.
Epcot transports guests to glimpses of countries around the world. With so many food and beverage delights around the part, it can be a whole day date. One pretty spot is the little gazebo off to the side of France. It was previously a character picture spot, but it could be a place to share a macaron ice cream sandwich or a glass of wine. A kiss could be another sweet ending.
At Animal Kingdom, the Tree of Life is the focal point of the entrance. Although some people dash past to ride the Flight of the Avatar, the pathways around the tree are quite peaceful. Whether you look at the water or see all the animals woven into the tree, it can be that quiet moment of reflection. That slow linger could make a couple feel like they have the park to themselves.
Disney Springs is full of shopping and restaurants but walking around the area can be a lovely way to spend the day. Consider sipping a cocktail on one of the restaurants’ outdoor patios or grabbing a dessert to split by the lake. Even if there are crowds, there are plenty of quiet places to have that romantic moment with someone special.
Truthfully, any place can be a romantic place at Walt Disney World. If you are with someone special, those magical memories will be made.
