The creators behind Netflix’s You are adapting another one of Caroline Kepnes’ thrillers, this time for Peacock.

Netflix’s adaptation of author Caroline Kepnes’ You has been a hit with viewers, even if it’s just because they can’t pull their eyes away from the ridiculous antics of Penn Badgley’s stalker-turned-killer, Joe. And the creators behind this popular Netflix series have signed on to adapt another one of Kepnes’ thrillers for NBC’s Peacock streaming service: Providence.

Based on the novel of the same name, Providence will tell the story of Jon Bronson, who went missing with five other classmates when he was 12 years old. Jon resurfaces as an adult, but with no recollection of what’s happened to him (though he does have some spiffy and inexplicable supernatural powers).

Per Deadline, the adaptation will be helmed by You showrunner Sera Gamble, with You writer Neil Reynolds crafting the script. The two will also be working under Susan Rovner, chairman of entertainment content for NBCUniversal, who also used to be involved with You.

“I’m thrilled to team up with Sera, Neil and Greg once again and bring to life another adaptation of Caroline Kepnes’ gripping novels, this time with supernatural thriller and mysterious love story, Providence,” Rovner said in a statement obtained by Deadline.

Kepnes herself was also excited about the news, congratulating the team of “adaptation wizards” on Twitter for picking up another project based on one of her stories.

Given how successful You has been, it’ll be interesting to see if Providence keeps viewers on edge nearly as much. (Let’s be honest, it probably will.)

Fans will also have plenty to look forward to in the future, since Gamble and Reynolds will also be working on a third season of You. We’re still dying to know what’s next for Joe, his killer wife, and his mysterious neighbor — but we’ll definitely take some time out of those speculations to check out Providence.
