A Discovery of Witches season 2 is available to stream every Saturday morning

The highly anticipated second season of A Discovery of Witches has arrived. The UK-based production is airing in the United States the day after it airs in the UK. Here’s what you need to know to watch season 2 in the United States.

The second season of A Discovery of Witches follows the events of Shadow of Night, the second book in Deborah Harkness’ All Souls Trilogy. Season 2 picks up immediately where season 1 ended as Diana Bishop and Matthew Clairmont time jump from Diana’s home in present-day New England to Elizabethan England. It’s 1590 and their quest to find answers in Ashmole 782, also known as the Book of Life, is as important as ever.

Fans can tune into the latest episode of A Discovery of Witches every Saturday morning at 6am ET on Shudder, Sundance Now or AMC+. AMC+ is the home to the AMC family of networks and is only available in certain markets for customers with Apple TV, Amazon Prime, DirecTV, Dish Network, Roku, Sling and Xfinity. Shudder and Sundance Now are available individually as well.

Unlike season 1, which premiered in the UK and then debuted in the US several months later, the second season is debuting in the US the day after its UK premiere. Though all season 2 episodes are available in the UK, new episodes are dropping weekly in the US on Saturday mornings.

A Discovery of Witches stars Teresa Palmer (Diana) and Matthew Goode (Matthew Clairmont). As book to TV adaptations go, the show is a very faithful adaptation of Harkness’ books. Diana is a historian, and Harkness is a professor of history at the University of Southern California, so the details needed to be perfect.
