RHOBH alum and Vanderpump Rules star, Lisa Vanderpump announced on social media that her beloved Pomeranian, Gigolo, has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

It seems like 2020 does not want to stop its cycle of misfortunes.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum and Vanderpump Rules star, Lisa Vanderpump announced on social media that her beloved Pomeranian named Gigolo – but always called Giggy – has crossed the Rainbow bridge.

The reality star credited her beloved pooch with helping launch their organization to help save other dogs.

"Our sweet Gigolo was such an incredible, unique dog, but mainly, because of him, we started The Vanderpump Dog Foundation and embarked on our mission to save as many dogs as possible,” “He inspired us to start our work in rescue, and for that we will always be grateful.”“Giggy’s legacy will live on, through every dog @vanderpumpdogs saves. Thank you all for your support. Rest In Peace Giggy, we love you.”"

On Twitter, Lisa shared a similar post of her furbaby.

The three-pound pooch with his little tongue hanging out and dressed to the nines (to mainly protect him against the elements) was the true star of Real Housewives.  He lived a life of leisure that most dream about and resonated love wherever he was carried.

It was mentioned in a past episode that he preferred to be carried, rather than to walk.

Yet, Giggy was more than a lapdog; he was an advocate for dog alopecia-or hair loss as well as being the core inspiration for Vanderpump Dogs Foundation, a nonprofit rescue center that offers adoption, grooming, training, a nursery, and other programs to help dogs find their forever families.

Giggy’s lifestyle was heavily depicted on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills with Lisa and her husband, Ken Todd, and even had his own contract with the Bravo Network.  Through his adorable appearances -on-screen and off-he acclimated devoted fans over the years, as well as high-fiving with some of the entertainment elite.

He even appeared in Lady Gaga’s video, G.U.Y.

Although it is absolutely heartbreaking to lose a furbaby, or any special pet as they become a beloved family member, they leave an unmatched legacy for they were angels on earth, providing hope and companionship.  Giggy was the example of an angel for he touched the lives of many and gave dogs a new lease on life.
