Jessica Marie Garcia

Where you know her from: Liv and Maddie, On My Block, and How to Get Away With Murder

Jessica Marie Garcia made her acting debut as Sierra in the drama series Huge in 2010 and went on to star in some of television’s most popular shows. From her role as Willow Cruz on the Disney Channel series Liv and Maddie to her breakout performance as Jasmine Flores on Netflix’s hit series On My Block, Garcia shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. She landed a supporting role in season five of How to Get Away with Murder and, most recently, starred in the recurring role of Camilla on the Disney+ series Diary of a Future President. While she is probably best known for her formidable comedic timing, she has also shown that she has the ability to deliver depth in any given performance; big or small.

Garcia’s impressive resume could be put to good use in the role of Angela del Toro, aka White Tiger. While there have been multiple people to assume the White Tiger identity, Angela’s duration as the costume hero is by far one of the more interesting stories that could easily connect to the greater MCU. A trained private investigator who receives an amulet that gives her superhuman abilities, Angela would fit right in with the former Marvel Netflix characters (her name was actually mentioned in an episode of Jessica Jones as a referral).

With news of the proprietary rights reverting back to Disney as we speak, we’re betting Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Company will reappear in some form in the near future. Angela has worked with both Daredevil and Iron Fist in the comics, so she could easily appear as an ally. Additionally, with the upcoming She-Hulk series coming up on Disney+, they could easily use Angela del Toro as (She-Hulk’s lawyer alter-ego) Jennifer Walter’s resident private investigator.
