Torrid collaborates with Betsey Johnson for a whimsical collection arriving just in time for the holidays!

If you love whimsical fashion, then you probably know all about Betsey Johnson. And now you can enjoy all the Betsey you want in plus sizes with the help of Torrid.

According to the Torrid x Betsey Johnson page, this collection is inspired by classic styles that would have been found on runways in the ‘80s and ‘90s. We are talking about looks that incorporate plaids, animal print, tutus, and even combat boots. This collection brings the nostalgia with the help of vintage-inspired looks.

Maybe it is the tongues sticking out, the flames, or the animal print, but every bit of this collection is giving me rocker vibes. At the same time, these pieces are feminine and fun, perfect for adding a pop of whimsy to any outfit.

Torrid and Betsey Johnson is the collaboration we never knew we needed

Perhaps the best part of this collaboration is the just how complete it is. I mean, you can literally stock your closet with everything you need just from this release. There are handbags, shoes, full outfits, and even undergarments. I’ll admit that I was shocked to see a bra and panty set in this collection and I have no idea why.

Some of my favorite pieces include the Red Tartan Plaid Bodycon Dress, the Leopard Tulle Skirt, and the Floral Jacquard Babydoll Dress. And yes, the lingerie and other undergarments were pretty amazing as well.

Honestly, I love so many of the collections that Torrid releases, but this newest one in collaboration with Betsey Johnson might just be a favorite. It may be the whimsy of it all or the fact that there is literally something for everyone, but this collab is everything we could have hoped for and more. And the fact that it was dropped just in time for the holidays makes it even more fun.
