How will Eve’s story end in Supergirl season 6?

Lex Luthor’s would-be on again/off again paramore, Andrea Brooks debuted as Eve Teschmacher in season 2 as Cat Grant’s and later James’ assistant at CatCo. Once Lena started research trials on imbuing superpowers into humans, Eve became her lab assistant. However, she was working for Lex all the while, eventually betraying Lena and everyone else. In turn, Lena gives Eve somewhat of a lobotomy using her new mind-altering software. In a post-Crisis National City, Eve is manipulated by Lex to do his bidding in order to get in good with Leviathan, which apparently involved killing Jeremiah Danvers, Alex’s birth father and Kara’s adoptive father. At the end of season 5, we see Supergirl help free Eve from Lex’s manipulation, even after she shot William Dey.

Brooks was made a full-time series regular at the beginning of season 5, so, should that continue, we wouldn’t be surprised to see her working for Lena (reformed, of course) in the final season. While Eve has shown, on more than on occasion, that she is one of the smartest characters on the show, her character was treated as little more than comedic relief for most of the season. If there’s one character that deserves a redemption arc, it’s Eve Teschmacher.
