The final episode of The 100 arrives this week, bringing its seven-season run to a close. Here’s what the finale needs to answer.

The seventh and final season of The 100 has been building to an action-packed conclusion this week, but there is one massive question mark when it comes to the show’s final episode. With so many twists and turns defining the past few installments, many fans are wondering how on Earth this series is planning to wrap things up in just one more 43-minute run.

The most recent handful of episodes have shown no mercy when it comes to killing off major characters, and The 100’s penultimate episode left the fates of several major players in question. There are also two villains on the loose, along with a war or test to overcome and possible transcendence to contend with. Talk about a lot of threads in need of tying up.

At this point, it seems like The 100’s series finale can go one of two ways: It will either give fans a mind-bending conclusion that will somehow make sense of everything that’s happened so far, or it will fall flat when it comes to giving all of its storylines a satisfying ending.

In a perfect world, though, The CW’s sci-fi drama will answer all of our questions during its last hurrah. And we have a lot of questions we’d like “The Last War” to answer.

  1. Will Raven and Murphy go to Sanctum or Bardo?
  2. Will Emori survive after last week’s episode?
  3. If Emori does survive, what will become of her, Murphy, Raven, and Jackson?
  4. Are the people on Sanctum exempt from the Last War?
  5. Where the heck are Echo and Niylah?
  6. Is there a deeper meaning to the Azgeda handprint in the bunker?
  7. How will Indra, Gaia, and the others escape the bunker?
  8. Will Gaia’s faith or the Flame play a role in the finale?
  9. Will Indra take control of the Grounders again?
  10. Is Madi’s fate set in stone?
  11. What did Cadogan steal from Madi’s mind/what was in the code?
  12. Will Cadogan be right about the Last War, or will Jordan be correct that it’s a test?
  13. If it’s a test, who will end up taking it?
  14. If it’s a test, will humanity pass? Or are they doomed?
  15. What will Clarke’s confrontation with Cadogan look like?
  16. Will Clarke wind up killing Cadogan for revenge?
  17. Will Becca make an appearance during the Last Test?
  18. Will Cadogan get to see Callie again?
  19. How will Octavia and Levitt factor into the Last War or Last Test?
  20. Could Blodreina grace our screens one last time?
  21. Likewise, will Wanheda return during “The Last War”?
  22. Does transcendence actually exist?
  23. What the heck even is transcendence?
  24. Who gets to transcend?
  25. Does transcendence mean the group gets a do-over?
  26. Will we see Bellamy again before the series is through?
  27. Could Lexa make an appearance in the final episode?
  28. What kinds of callbacks to previous seasons will be present?
  29. Will Clarke have to pull another lever?
  30. Will Clarke survive the series finale?
  31. Where did Sheidheda go after last week’s episode?
  32. Is there a point of Sheidheda still being around?
  33. Will Indra finally kill Sheidheda?
  34. Will any other major characters die this week?
  35. What will become of the Disciples?
  36. Will the Primes storyline play any role in what’s coming?
  37. Will the viewers or characters ever return to Earth again?
  38. Does the Anomaly or time-travel plotline serve any further purpose?
  39. What will become of humanity?
  40. Could Jordan and Hope build a better world?
  41. Did any of it really matter?
  42. Was Monty right about humanity, or was Jasper?
  43. Could either Monty or Jasper make an appearance during the finale?
  44. Are there any good guys?
  45. Does anyone get a happy ending?
  46. What message should we take away from this journey?
  47. Could these characters return down the line?
  48. Does the end of season seven tie further into the potential prequel?
  49. Will the episode conclude on a twist or cliffhanger?
  50. Will the characters meet again?

There’s a lot resting on this final episode, and it’s likely to make fans cry — either from exhaustion, emotions, or some combination of the two. Fingers crossed The 100 finds a way to salvage what’s left of this story.
