A sneak peek trailer for Christmas Chronicles 2 was just released that shows Goldie Hawn as Mrs. Clause makes more of an appearance in the sequel.

Christmas movies are almost upon us and Netflix‘s Christmas Chronicles is coming out with a second film. S

In it, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be played again by longtime couple Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn. While Goldie Hawn’s cameo in the original movie (released in 2018) was short and sweet, we’re expecting to see a lot more of her in Christmas Chronicles 2.

Netflix recently released a teaser trailer for the new movie, with the caption, “It’s time for Mrs. Claus to get her due.”

The first Christmas Chronicles was a favorite with holiday movie fanatics and told the story of Kate (Darby Camp) and Teddy Pierce’s (Judah Lewis) plan to capture Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. When their plan goes awry, the kids team up with Santa and his elves in order to not only save Christmas, but to save the siblings relationship after both mourning the loss of their father. It was a modern-day (and better) The Santa Clause (hold the Tim Allen), and it was absolutely spectacular.

Christmas Chronicles 2 will bring Kate and Teddy back to the North Pole, and together with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, face an enemy who’s trying to end Christmas for good.

We’re thrilled to see that Hawn will apparently play more of a part in this soon to be released movie. While the original Christmas Chronicles captured the attention and warmed the hearts of people around the globe, most fans can agree that the best scene was Hawn’s short cameo at the end.

hris Columbus, the film’s director, recently said in an interview that both Hawn and Russell just bring so much laughter to set. “There’s a tremendous amount of respect there and a tremendous amount of love and trust, partially because they’ve been together for so long,” he says. “They just get along beautifully.”

The full trailer for the movie has yet to be released but when it is, we can expect to be in for a treat.

Christmas Chronicles 2 will be released on Netflix November 25 so there’s plenty of time to watch (and re-watch) the first one before then!
