DC FanDome gave fans a first look at Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in his Black Adam suit this week — and we are officially excited for this movie.

We’ve seen Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson take on a lot of roles over the years, but we’ve yet to see him don a superhero suit. That’s about to change, however, when the DCEU’s Black Adam finally arrives. And if fans weren’t already pumped to see The Rock in this extension of Shazam!, the first look at him suited up is likely to change that.

The Rock shared a first look of him as Black Adam prior to the events of DC FanDome this weekend, taking to Instagram to get fans excited about the movie and the virtual DC event. The wrestler-turned-actor teased that “the hierarchy of power in the DC UNIVERSE is about to change,” promising big things to come.

In his Instagram post, Johnson also applauded Warner Bros. and DC for bringing fans together during the health crisis, writing, “Personally, I salute my Warner Bros & DC partners for creating this historic opportunity for fans to absorb our entire DC UNIVERSE while we all continue to manage the challenges of COVID. Well done.”

“The man in black is coming to crush them all,” Johnson added at the end of the post. And we don’t doubt it.

During the panel for Black Adam , The Rock and Noah Centineo, who will play Atom Smasher in the film, dove further into how the movie will bring the Justice Society of America to the big screen. An animated teaser also rehashed the origin story of Black Adam.
