Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD cast share their feelings about the series finale
Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD has ended, and the cast has shown their love and support for all seven seasons across social media. We have the highlights!
We said a bittersweet farewell to Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD earlier this week. After seven seasons, our SHIELD team hung up their skates and moved on to new and separate adventures.
Many of us were surprised to get seven seasons, especially when season five wrapped everything up in a neat little package.
For the last week, the cast of Agents of SHIELD has been reflecting back on the last seven years of this show, posting behind-the-scenes looks and photos that we’ve never seen before.
Clark Gregg has been having a field day over on his Instagram, posting so many behind-the-scenes photos and videos of the cast and crew hanging out and just seeming to have fun:
Elizabeth Henstridge has a fun, baby-faced look at her and Fitz at the start of all this and when he became the head of Hydra in the Framework:
When you scroll through everyone’s feeds, it’s clear to see just how much love they poured into this show that went from being overly hyped to an underdog in a season.
Chloe Bennet has started posting some videos of behind the scenes things as well, including a behind the scenes sequence with Jeff Ward’s Deke:
It’s almost even more fun to see the actors who were only around for a handful of episodes or a single season showing their love. J. August Richards made a post about Deathlok from the first season. Mallory Jansen showed her love for the SHIELD team on Twitter, from starting life as an LMD to becoming Lady Hydra, she had a heck of a run in season four.
Even Grant Ward got in on the action, with Brett Dalton posting a montage of photos on Instagram of him and the SHIELD team who had to take him down on multiple occasions (I’ll throw out one last #NoWardRedemptionArc):
Ming-Na Wen has been busy on Twitter promoting the finale and talking about the last seven years, and Natalia Cordova has plenty to say about how much she loves the Agents of SHIELD team.
And if you missed the post by the Marvel Twitter account, the whole cast and crew sent out a huge “thank you” to fans of the show, one that I still haven’t managed to finish watching because I’m crying a minute into it:
It really is an emotional farewell to Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD. Seven years of buildup to this moment, to seeing them finally get… well, not a happy ending, but happier than everything they’ve dealt with before.
What did you think of the Agents of SHIELD finale? Was it everything you wanted? Are you sad to see it finally end? Let us know in the comments!
