Vera Bradley has released a collection of Harry Potter purses and accessories
Vera Bradley just released a line of Harry Potter bags that will have you shouting, “Accio handbags!”
When it comes to fun fashion finds, we can’t help but be drawn to pieces that show off our fandom. While we may be in a time when the Harry Potter franchise has taken a bit of a hit (we won’t go there), that doesn’t mean that we don’t still love our Hogwarts and Wizarding World gear. And it seems that Vera Bradley understands this.
In a press release from Vera Bradley shared on July 16, the company revealed a collaboration with Warner Bros. to bring their fans an epic Potter–themed collection. This capsule collection includes handbags, travel bags, accessories, and even cozy wear (such as a robe and a throw blanket).
According to Vera Bradley’s CEO, Rob Wallstrom, “So many of our fans grew up with Harry Potter the same way they grew up with Vera Bradley. In fact, this was one of the most highly requested collaborations from our customers and associates.”
Vera Bradley Feels Like the Perfect Company for a Harry Potter Collab
Considering the types of designs and patterns that the handbag and accessory company is already known for, it feels like this particular collection is a no-brainer. There is so much whimsy and magic to the pieces that Vera Bradley releases regularly, so it makes sense that they would go all in on a Harry Potter line.
The designs are exactly what we expect to see from Vera Bradley, while also incorporating aspects of the franchise that make us feel both nostalgic and happy. At the heart of the collection is the “Home to Hogwarts” pattern, which features a dark blue fabric that has white owls, the house crests for Hogwarts, and even Harry Potter’s glasses. It’s a chic pattern that still offers plenty of whimsy and magic.
And if you want something a little less busy, there are also some solid pieces that feature the Hogwarts crest as the focal point of the bags and pieces offered.
If you are interested in snagging any of these pieces, you may want to hop to it, as the company’s Instagram revealed that a vanishing spell must have been used on their site after shoppers crashed things when the collaboration first dropped. So you know that means that there are a lot of people trying to get their hands on these pieces.
What do you think of this collaboration? Are you going to check out this collection? Are you still picking up Harry Potter things? Tell us what you think in the comments.
