The Walking Dead will be participating in SDCC: At Home with panels for The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, and the new spin-off TWD: World Beyond.

The lineup for first SDCC at Home will include The Walking Dead. There was some question about whether or not The Walking Dead universe would hold panels this year, but it was announced that all three shows in The Walking Dead universe will be presenting panels. All of the panels will be free to stream.

In past years, SDCC’s The Walking Dead panel in Hall H would give fans the official first-look trailer at the new season, as well as a panel. But there won’t be a trailer this year because filming for season 11 hasn’t even begun yet. Instead, the panel will focus on the highly anticipated season 10 finale, which wasn’t able to air. Post-production on the episode wasn’t finished, so the finale will air as a standalone episode at some point later this year. Fans have not given up hope that the season 10 finale could air sometime this summer, but there’s currently no announced air date for the episode.

The Walking Dead finale panel will be moderated by Chris Hardwick and will feature chief content officer for the entire TWD universe, Scott M. Gimple; showrunner and executive producer Angela Kang; executive producer and director Greg Nicotero; cast members Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Josh McDermitt, Ross Marquand; the returning Lauren Cohan; and newcomer Paola Lazaro, who was introduced as “Princess” Juanita Sanchez at the end of season 10.

Both of the other TWD universe shows will also stream panels for SDCC at Home.

Fear the Walking Dead

The Fear The Walking Dead panel will be a little more traditional and focus on the upcoming season 6 of the show. The season 5 finale left the group in a dark place where they had to give up their quest to help people and save themselves by joining Ginny’s group. They’re now cut off from each other and facing a situation that they’ve never faced before as they try to figure out exactly who Ginny is and what she’s trying to do.

The Fear the Walking Dead panel will be moderated again by Chris Hardwick, and participating will be CCO Scott Gimple, showrunners and executive producers Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg, and Lennie James, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Colman Domingo, Danay Garcia, Karen David, Jenna Elfman, and Rubén Blades.

The Walking Dead: World Beyond

The Walking Dead fans will finally get to learn more about the exciting new spinoff TWD: World Beyond at a panel discussing the first season of this new edition to the TWD universe. It was previously announced that World Beyond will be a limited series and fans have a lot of questions about the limited series format and how this story and these characters will fit into the universe they already know.

Chris Hardwick will be moderating a panel consisting of CCO Gimple, showrunner and executive producer Matt Negrete, and cast members Aliyah Royale, Alexa Mansour, Hal Cumpston, Nicholas Cantu, Nico Tortorella, Julia Ormond, and Joe Holt.
