Warner Bros. has announced they will be hosting a virtual DC FanDome experience, featuring all their DC Extended Universe and television properties.

Coming on the tail-end of San Diego Comic-Con’s news that they will be holding a virtual event in lieu of their real-life convention this year, Warner Brothers has announced they will be putting together their own DC fandom virtual event called DC FanDome.

The media giant has a 24-hour immersive experience planned to start on August 22nd, 2020 at 10am PST, and will be available for fans across seven continents.

The confab will feature a merging of all DC Universe properties, including films, television shows, video games, and comics. Attendees will be treated to highly-anticipated announcements, exclusive looks, and all the latest news, as well as an opportunity to hear from the casts and creators of some of DC’s hottest properties.

Film projects such as Wonder Woman ’84, the Snyder Cut of Justice League, and The Batman are slated to be a part of the convention. DC TV shows, led by The CW’s Arrowverse, will also get a chance to shine. Participating shows include Batwoman, Black Lightning, Supergirl, The Flash, Doom Patrol, Titans, DC Super Hero Girls, Lucifer, and Watchmen.

The epicenter of the online event will be the “Hall of Heroes,” where you can experience panels, special programming, and exclusive reveals from a variety of DC films, TV series, and games, available in several languages.

Additional satellite worlds will include the following.

  • DC WatchVerse: Featuring hours of must-see content like exclusive screening, behind-the-scenes footage, and cast and creator interviews.
  • DC YouVerse: Based on the fan’s experience, this channel will feature user-generated content, cosplays, and fan art from around the world.
  • DC KidsVerse: Showcases a broad range of family-friendly activities to keep the kids entertained for hours.
  • DC InsiderVerse: This channel will feature a centerpiece video that includes appearances by DC heavyweights like DC CCO Jim Lee and Arrowverse creator Greg Berlanti, who will provide a 101-style introduction to the DC Multiverse. There will also be a highlight reel of behind-the-scenes master artisans who bring DC characters to life in comic books, games, theme parks, TV, movies, and consumer products.
  • DC FunVerse: For the virtual shopping experience, DC FunVerse allows you to read digital comics and has DIY WW84 golden armor and Batmobile kits. Digital giveaways, and merchandise, some event-exclusive, will also be available.

DC FanDome will be available in ten different languages–Brazilian, Portuguese, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish. Fans will also get access to localized events, featuring the faces and voices from countries around the world in their local language.
