Harry Potter and its couples: Who was the most popular among fans?

Whether it is Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley to any mix of couples present throughout the Harry Potter series, which ones are the most popular among fans still?

Harry Potter meant a lot to fans for a lot of different reasons but one thing that always brought on the fights was shipping. Whether it was who we thought should have ended up together or the fanfiction that existed, many of us still have strong opinions about our favorite couples and I know that we are going to continue to think about them.

Whether your favorite couple ended up being endgame doesn’t really matter at this point. It’s said and done. What does matter is what ships are still popular online which, unsurprisingly, is set around Sirius Black and Remus Lupin.

One thing about the series that is fascinating is that yes, we love Harry Potter and who he should have ended up is still a topic of conversation but in all of Tumblr, Sirius/Remus is still an extremely important ship and I’m sure if you looked around, you’d also find some Harry/Draco fics still regularly updating.

So what does that say for us as fans? I think it drives home the fact that we just love these characters still and we want the best for them. We don’t want them to go away just because the series is over and so we’re focusing on still telling these stories for fans who also love them too.

So much of this series is just about what we love and what who we wish were together and it’s lovely to see that it’s still happening.
