The new teaser for Netflix’s adaptation of The Baby-Sitters Club will leave you feeling nostalgic — and in need of a re-read.

If you’ve been longing for simpler times, Netflix is prepared to transport you back to them through its adaptation of The Baby-Sitters Club. The series, which is based on Ann M. Martin’s popular children’s novels, will reacquaint us with the entire babysitting gang: Kristy Thomas, Mary Anne Spier, Claudia Kishi, Stacey McGill, and Dawn Schafer.

If you were a big fan of The Baby-Sitters Club books as a child, this is no doubt exciting news for you. Spending 10 episodes with characters from the past — all while seeing them deal with the woes of being teenagers and starting their babysitting business — is a surefire way to amp up some much-needed nostalgia during these trying times. And after watching Netflix’s new teaser trailer, you may even want to revisit the books before diving into the onscreen adaptation.

Watch the teaser for The Baby-Sitters Club below:

Is that a colorful, transparent landline phone we see? And that’s hardly the only callback to the late ’80s and early ’90s we’ll see from the show. Even the brief look at the five main characters shows fans a style remniscent of those days, along with some seriously fun interior decorating that will automatically make you feel like a teenager again.

Although the teaser doesn’t tell us much about what will be happening over the course of the series, it’s safe to say fans will see adventures similar to those we read about back in the day. With Martin serving as a producer on the series, and Rachel Shukert and Lucia Aniello (of GLOW and Broad City fame, respectively) at the helm, the show is clearly in good hands.

We don’t have long to wait for the nostalgic fun to begin, either. The Baby-Sitters Club arrives on Netflix on July 3, so make sure to factor this into your summer viewing plans.
