Hulu knew we needed a great show to keep us entertained while we stay inside and binge-watch, and so it’s bringing us The Great this May. Based on historical — or anti-historical, as the synopsis puts it — fun, the series sees Catherine the Nothing rise to Catherine the Great, with Elle Fanning portraying the iconic character. And who doesn’t want to spend their days putting a neat twist on historical events? It’s going to be incredibly fun.
But if The Great isn’t for you, Hulu also has a wide array of movies arriving on the platform this month. See what the world holds for Bruce Wayne in Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins. The beginning of the Nolan trilogy, Batman Begins shows how Bruce Wayne took on the mantle of Batman and how he began to fix Gotham in the way that his father had wanted. And even if you’ve seen this trilogy before, now is the perfect time to rewatch your favorites — so why not give Batman another go?
From there, you can get ready to check out the film Goodfellas. Martin Scorsese’s classic takes us on the journey of Henry Hill (Ray Liotta) and is very much an artistic adventure that has led to many iconic films since. Why not take a look back at the movie that started it all?
