Christian Siriano is offering his expertise to help make masks for coronavirus
Fashion designer Christian Siriano is doing everything he can to help out his community in its time of need. And that means helping to make masks to fight coronavirus.
While we all know Christian Siriano as a fashion designer who creates stunning gowns and dresses, and even accessories and shoes, now it looks like he will be doing his part to fight the coronavirus outbreak.
According to the New York Daily News, it seems that Siriano has offered his services to make masks for the coronavirus outbreak. Considering the governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo, has put out a call for much-needed protective gear, such as masks, gowns, and gloves, it makes sense that people who can help would step up.
In a tweet posted on March 20, Siriano stated, “If @NYGovCuomo says we need masks my team will help make some. I have a full sewing team still on staff working from home that can help.” From there, the offer was actually accepted by the governor, who said they would reach out via direct message on Twitter.
However, it is clear that Christian Siriano is not stopping there, as he also shared a follow-up tweet in which he revealed a design for one of the masks that he and his team will be producing. He explained that they would be making a few different versions of the mask he tweeted out, in hopes of helping as many people as possible.

Cuomo even tweeted his appreciation for what Siriano and his team are doing, while asking who else will step up to help.
With so many people in the state of New York having been confirmed to have COVID-19, and medical institutions running of protective gear that they need, now is the time for people to step up and offer to help. And when we look at Christian Siriano’s history, it absolutely makes sense that he would do his part to fight the coronavirus outbreak.

We stan a man who will do the right thing for no other reason than it is what should be done. And clearly Siriano is that man, since he always seems to step forward when no one else will.
