Practice social distancing and binge the next installments of your beloved shows or try out one of the new series coming to Netflix this week.

Hello, Culturess readers! This week marks the first in what may be several weeks that Americans are being encouraged to work from home and practice social distancing.

In the wake of this global pandemic, not much can be done to soothe understandable fears and concerns besides staying up to date on statewide measures to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and keeping an eye on national coverage as more information is released from the CDC.

As we wait this virus out — and continue to wash our hands! — Netflix offers an escape. Whether you plan to binge All American season 2 or Black Lightning season 3, or launch into the new series Feel Good or Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker, this week on Netflix has some choice selections for you to get lost in.

All American Season 2

All American‘s sophomore run just finished on The CW, but if you’re behind on season 2, now’s the time to catch up. The show picks up with Spencer having made a big decision about his high school football career. He’s hot off winning the championship with Beverly, but is father, Cory, wants him to return to Crenshaw and play for him. Which school will he choose?

There’s also the question of Coop’s safety. Tyrone is gone but involving the cops has put a target on her back. Branded a snitch, she might have jumped out of the frying pan straight into the fire. And she’s not the only one headed for a hard time. The Bakers are struggling under the weight of Billy’s infidelity, and Grace still needs to answer Cory on whether Dillon is his son.

With drama on and off the field, All American season 2 is sure to leave you on the edge of your bed ready for more as you practice social distancing and stay in as much as you can.
